My wedding was beautiful, just the way I'd always imagined it would be as a child. The weather was gorgeous, the guests had fun, my parents were overjoyed. It went off perfectly, without a hitch. The picture-perfect image of what a happy wedding was supposed to be.

On the surface.

I looked gorgeous and I smiled like it was the happiest day of my life. No one noticed the slightest thing wrong, which was just how I wanted it. After working so hard to make my wedding gorgeous and exciting and happy, I wasn't going to let anything spoil it. I'd already proved that to myself twice, even if no one knew.

Well, not no one. Lance knew.

He smiled at me when I stood beside my new husband, Adam, and spoke my vows. To anyone else, it would have seemed like the happiness of a best man seeing his friend get married, but I could see something else in his eyes. The knowledge of what I'd done with him.

Years ago, we'd had a brief fling. I'd never told Adam, not wanting to hurt him, and I thought it would never matter. Just a youthful indiscretion that everyone would forget about. We'd move on with our lives – and we did. I got engaged to Adam, we were planning our wedding, and then Lance came to me.

He told me he'd ruin it all if I didn't do what he said. He'd tell Adam, and my fairytale wedding and relationship would be all over. So I did it. I knew I shouldn't have, I knew it was stupid. I couldn't even really blame it on him – the first time, maybe. But the second time? No matter what I might have said, what I told myself, I knew the truth deep down inside me.

Lance, with his love of dominance, his kinky desires and his skill at degrading and owning me, pleased me in ways I'd never imagined. I could no longer deny how much I'd loved his rough aggressiveness, even when he made me do things that I knew should be humiliating. Instead, they got me hotter than anything Adam had ever done.

I didn't love Lance, I never would. But he fucked me so well that I knew I'd be dreaming of it forever.

What I didn't know was whether it was over or not. Even standing at the altar, speaking my vows, I didn't know. Would he ask me to do those things again, or would he leave me alone now that I was married? Did I want him to? I wanted to be happy with Adam, but I knew Lance had changed something within me. He'd brought my secret submissive side to life, and I would forever want what he did to me.

That was what I saw when I met his eyes, when he smiled at me. But I didn't have time to think about it. The ceremony was over so fast, everything was a whirlwind of cake and champagne and wedding gifts.
